Digital Volume Tomography-DVT X-ray

In the ZAHNÄRZTE AM KURHAUS practice, we use the three-dimensional DVT X-ray as a special method of diagnostics. With our state-of-the-art X-ray machine, jawbones, foreign bodies and osteolysis can be displayed down to the smallest detail with high-resolution recording quality and measured optimally. In addition, pathologies such as inflammatory changes and smallest cysts can also be mapped. The 3D images allow us to determine the position and the implant even before the implant surgery, in order to create optimal conditions for later care.

In this way, anatomical structures, such as nerves, can be accurately represented, thus avoiding injury to the nerve.

Also in the search for inflammation in the bone or at the root tip, DVT X-rays can be extremely helpful, since no structures are superimposed in this imaging technique.
